Pomona’s Promise

Sarah Ross, a cherished and dedicated educator in the Pomona Unified School District, touched the lives of her students with love, and the belief that every child can succeed. Sarah was an inspiration to her students, and was the founding member of the Learning Expo and Science Fair. This scholarship is given lovingly in her name.

Eligibility: All Pomona Unified School District college bound 12th graders.

Application: Submit an an application including an essay of no more than 500 words. Describing your interest in science, engineering, and/or mathematics and how you plan to utilize those interests and skills in the future. You may include those who inspired your interest and any challenges you may have faced.

DEADLINE for submitting your ESSAY APPLICATION is Friday, March 21, 2022. No Exceptions.

All winners are REQUIRED to ATTEND the Sarah Ross Scholarship VIRTUAL reception on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 3-4pm.

Scholarship award winners will receive a scholarship VOUCHER giving instructions to request funds.
You will receive your scholarship checks from your school administrator approximately 2 weeks after the reception.
